Aerial landscape view of two man-made ponds and several banks of coal waste in forested, mountain area

On May 29, EC had the pleasure of hosting Seth Cassell, new State Forester for the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. We and North Branch Land Trust – along with Nick Lylo, District Forester for the Pinchot State Forest – spent the afternoon reflecting on the successes of our recent partnerships in local landscape preservation, and discussing several future collaborations.
