A group of Nanticoke Scouts, adults and children, stand outside on muddy ground holding orange shovels for a tree planting. Most are dressed in jackets and hats, with bare trees and brush visible in the background.
Earth Conservancy wants to thank Nanticoke Cub Scout Pack 415 for braving the wet weather on April 23rd, and helping us plant more than 50 White Pine and Norway Spruce seedlings at our Phase II wetlands site along Dundee Road in Hanover Township. Fourteen scouts participated (along with lots of family members!). The trees will prevent water runoff and erosion in the area.
