Earth Conservancy is excited to announce planned upgrades to its community garden in Plymouth Township! Supported by grants from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and Price Chopper Supermarkets‘ Golub Foundation, the project will improve the site’s watering system, thereby increasing access and enhancing the experience for our gardeners.

The community garden started back in 2000. Plots are offered free-of-charge to area residents, with a dozen or more individuals participating every year. It’s a genuine place of community building, not only for the gardeners, but also for area groups that receive donations of surplus produce. The gardens proved especially important during the pandemic, allowing people to get outside, access food, and interact with others safely. We are proud to carry on this important local asset.
