On September 9, 2015, Earth Conservancy hosted a press event to announce $400,000 in Brownfields Cleanup grant awards from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for reclamation of Bliss Bank, Phase II.  On hand was the EPA Regional Administrator Shawn Garvin, as well as other members of the Region 3 team.  Speakers included Mr. Garvin, Mike Dziak, EC President/CEO; State Senator John Yudichak, D-14; and Nanticoke City Manager Andy Gegaris.
