EC and our friends at EPCAMR celebrated the return of Earth Day along the Susquehanna River after a two-year hiatus. The event, sponsored by the Riverfront Parks Committee, invites students to discover the work area agencies, businesses, and groups are doing to conserve and improve the local environment. We met with around 300 eager learners today with a focus on local macroinvertebrates and how their presence indicates the health of a freshwater body of water. Their energy and interest was inspiring, showing us lots of promise in the next generation.
