Earth Conservancy was notified it had received a $62,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources to conduct a feasibility study for an ATV riding facility in Newport Township. The initiative will build on work done in our 2006 ATV report, as well as information complied in our 2019 Master Plan for Newport Township. We know how important off-roading is to local residents. We support finding a safe, exciting, and legal way for it to happen. In addition, an ATV facility could be a boon to the area’s economy. We’re excited to share with you what transpires with this project in the coming year!
