Senator John Yudichak held a news conference at Meadows in Dallas to highlight the progress the NEPA Nursing Home SOS Program has made in providing PPE to protect residents and staff in area nursing homes. What started with a $250K donation from Earth Conservancy and $250K match from the AllOne Foundation, has now grown to over $1 million through contributions from Luzerne County, Lackawanna County, the Luzerne Foundation, and the Carbon County Community Foundation. Additional partners include One Point, Inc., LeadingAge PA, and the Pennsylvania Health Care Association. To date, the NEPA Nursing Home SOS Program has distributed 828,825 pieces of PPE to 30 facilities in the region. Read more in the Citizens’ Voice by clicking here.
