It’s one thing to reconstruct a missing stream channel, as we’re doing with Espy Run.  It’s an entirely different challenge to restore the vegetation that’s needed to protect and enhance the new waterway.  Entering John Levitsky of the Luzerne Conservation District and Judy Lemmond who, as part of the Keystone 10 Million Trees Partnership, spent the day planting seedings at the Espy Run Segment A site.  Thanks to them for their help and dedication in restoring the Nanticoke Creek watershed.  There’s still much more to be done, but we’re thankful they’re part of it
