EC is pleased to introduce Jason Tarnowski, PLS, who joins us as our new Project and Operations Manager. Jason, who holds a BS in Survey Engineering from Penn State University, is an experienced surveyor and management professional, with over 20 years of experience in the field. Much of his work was in the coal industry, including Blaschak Coal Corporation, where he was responsible for planning, production forecasts, permitting, and reporting. He has also served as an adjunct surveying instructor at Luzerne Co. Community College. Jason will support EC by supervising its reclamation projects, as well as operations and maintenance of its facilities such as compost, the Askam Borehole AMD treatment system, and the Hanover Area recreation fields.
A huge outdoor enthusiast, Jason enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and canoeing/kayaking, and is a member of the Nanticoke Conservation Club. He resides in Glen Lyon with his wife and four children.
