This February, EC officially welcomed Terence J. Ostrowski, PE, as its new President/CEO, following the retirement of Mike Dziak.
Terry is a native of the Wilkes-Barre area, and brings with him over 20 years of progressive engineering and management experience. He began his career at RKR Hess Associates in the Poconos, then joined Borton Lawson in 1998. There, he worked on a variety of projects including the Wyoming Valley levee raising, several hydrologic analyses of area watersheds, and an acid mine drainage study on Solomon Creek. He also served as the municipal engineer for six local communities. Coincidentally, Terry was assigned to work on several EC projects. Terry shares the experience “gave me a deep appreciation for EC’s mission and the ongoing work it did.” Terry received a B.S. in Engineering and an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Penn State University. He and his wife reside in Wilkes-Barre, and have three grown sons.
